Welder/Fabricator AtWork Personnel - 3.7 Knoxville, TN Job Details Full-time $21 - $25 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Welding Certification Attention to detail Manual handling Manufacturing Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking experienced TIG and MIG Welders to join growing manufacturing and fabrication teams. Candidates will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, interpret weld symbols, and perform welds in various positions. Responsibilities Perform MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and/or Flux Core (FCAW) welding operations according to specifications. Weld components using flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions as required. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions. Set up and operate welding equipment, torches, grinders, and related fabrication tools. Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. Prepare materials by cutting, fitting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures. Collaborate with production teams to meet daily schedules and production goals. Perform basic equipment maintenance and report any mechanical issues. Qualifications Previous experience with TIG, MIG, and/or Flux Core welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols. Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other metals. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship. Ability to use measuring tools including tape measures, calipers, and gauges. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Welding certifications are a plus but not required.
