Quality Control:

Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards and assign necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.

Fabrication:

Fabricate metal parts and products according to design specifications and project requirements, utilizing various welding and metalworking techniques. Perform outside fabrication work as needed by customers.

Material Handling:

Safely handle and manage raw materials, including cutting, bending, and shaping metal components.

Welding:

Perform welding tasks using various processes to join metal parts together, ensuring high-quality welds and structural integrity.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure the assigned Crew strictly adheres to safety protocols and maintains a safe work environment at all times, promoting a culture of safety. Report any non-conformities to the Supervisor via email.

Equipment Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of fabrication tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Site Supervisor to interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications, ensuring accurate execution of custom projects. Communicate with assigned crew and Fire watch.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of materials used, work completed, and time spent on each project for billing and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus-OSHA 10 Certification is a plus
• Completion of a welding certification program or apprenticeship
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a GTAW welder
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols
• Ability to operate and maintain welding equipment
• Knowledge of different types of metals and welding techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow safety procedures
• Valid welding certification (e.

g. AWS certification) is a plus.
