Job Description
RIX Machining and Manufacturing, LLC is hiring an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our shop immediately. We're looking for someone who can read blueprints accurately, fabricate metal parts to exact specifications, and produce clean, strong welds. If you take pride in precision work and want a predictable 4-day work week, we want to hear from you. Pay & Schedule Pay range $21.00-$25.00 per hour Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts (40 hours/week) — enjoy a 3-day weekend, every week Immediate hire — start right away Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid vacation Paid holidays What You'll Do Fabricate and manufacture metal parts to exact specifications Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols Produce strong, clean welds using MIG welding (required); TIG welding a plus Test output to ensure strength and tolerance of welds Operate hand tools, calipers, weld gauges, and other shop equipment Maintain weld machines through preventative maintenance Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as needed What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication and welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment Proficiency in MIG welding required; TIG welding skills preferred Strong blueprint-reading skills and knowledge of common welding symbols Valid driver's license required High School Diploma or GED Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift 30-50 lbs Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team Ready to put your fabrication skills to work?
