Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Fabricate and assemble metal components using welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Rig and position heavy materials and equipment for welding or assembly
- Perform cutting as required
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications
Experience:
- Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role
- Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Familiarity with threading and cutting techniques
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a fabrication environment
