This position is one of much training under supervision of a more experienced welder.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Aid in producing quality welds to complete fabrication process Levels, scrapes and finishes edges or surfaces using hand scrapper Adjusts valves to obtain flame of specified size and color and adjusts arc welding equipment to obtain specified size arc, under strict supervision Obtain accurate amperage, voltage, slope and pulse on welding unit Cleans weld joint Operates hand- held and tractor cutting torch assemble Able to meet established deadlines

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Operates overhead crane and forklift machinery Ability to perform other duties as assigned
