Job Description

Our client is currently seeking or in need of a Welder in Brookshire, Texas . This position is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience in welding, manufacturing, construction, or fabrication and is ready to grow within a production environment. The Welder will assist with tack welding aluminum cable ladder components while following work instructions, assembly drawings, and quality standards. Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting where accuracy matters. The Day-to-Day:
Perform tack welds on aluminum cable ladder components according to specifications. Align, fit, and position materials before welding. Read and follow work instructions, production guidelines, and assembly drawings. Inspect parts before and after tack welding to ensure proper fit and quality. Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and related devices. Operate basic hand tools and fabrication equipment safely. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Assist with additional production duties as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, construction, or fabrication is a plus. Basic knowledge of welding principles preferred but not required. Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Dependable attendance and a positive attitude. Willingness to work 2nd shift in the future is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Comfortable with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Pay Rate:
$17.50 per hour
