Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Rig Welder to join our team. As a Rig Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components for oil rigs, pipelines, and other industrial projects. Your work will be critical to ensuring the safety and efficiency of these structures. You will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a welding apprenticeship program or equivalent experience Certification in welding from a recognized institution Experience working with a variety of welding techniques and materials Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on oil rigs or other industrial projects Experience with automated welding equipment Experience with non-destructive testing techniques Experience with welding inspection and quality control
Responsibilities:
Performing welding and fabrication work on metal components for oil rigs, pipelines, and other industrial projects Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings Maintaining welding equipment and tools Ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety Collaborating with other members of the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Skills:
As a Rig Welder, you will use your expertise in welding and fabrication to ensure the safety and efficiency of critical industrial structures. You will need to be highly skilled in a variety of welding techniques and materials, and be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. You will also need to be a strong communicator and collaborator, working closely with other members of the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are also essential skills for this role.
