Full Job Description Job Overview:
Bay Area & Gasket, a TRG company, a leading industrial Stainless Steel hose supplier, is seeking highly skilled and motivated Stainless Steel Fabricator / Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience welding thin-to-heavy gauge stainless steel braided hoses, fittings, and flanges. Attention to detail and adherence to strict pressure/leak testing standards are essential. MIG welding experience is preferred as this position will also work with Carbon Steel spools.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate TIG welding equipment for stainless steel components Read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics Assist with Stainless Steel hose cutting and preparing prior to welding Weld fittings, flanges, and braid-over hoses to exact tolerances Perform visual inspections and assist with pressure testing to guarantee zero-leak standards Maintain a safe and clean workspace
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience (stainless steel focus preferred). Ability to pass an in-house stainless steel welding test. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Working in non-air-conditioned facilities. High school diploma or equivalent required.
