Traveling Industrial Construction Job Overview Red Moon Elite is currently hiring experienced Traveling Industrial Pipefitters and Pipe Welders for ongoing projects throughout the Southeast. This is long-term work with consistent hours and opportunities to stay active across multiple job assignments. We are looking for skilled tradespeople who are dependable, safety-focused, and experienced in industrial environments. Candidates should be comfortable traveling between project sites and working in fast-paced outage and construction settings. Responsibilities Industrial Pipefitters Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications Layout, assemble, install, and maintain industrial piping systems Measure, cut, thread, and fit piping components Install supports, hangers, valves, and related systems Ensure proper alignment, fit-up, and system integrity Pipe Welders (Stick & TIG) Perform Stick (SMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding on carbon and stainless steel pipe Weld in accordance with job specifications and industrial standards Read and interpret welding symbols and isometric drawings Perform quality welds in varying positions as required Maintain clean, safe, and production-focused work practices Requirements Proven experience in industrial pipefitting or pipe welding Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems Ability to perform Stick and/or TIG welding (for welders) Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to travel regionally Must provide basic hand tools (per job assignment requirements) Ability to work extended hours and overtime as needed Background checks may be required depending on client/site Work Schedule & Travel 50-60 hours per week typical 5-10 hour shifts depending on project Weekend work available based on project demand Travel required throughout Southeast job sites Per diem available during outage weeks ($100•120 depending on assignment) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $32•36/hr DOE Weekly pay Per diem available for qualifying travel assignments Long-term and rotating project opportunities Steady work across multiple Southeast locations Locations Projects are located throughout the Southeast, including:
