Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Welder with 3+ years of experience in heavy steel manufacturing or fabrication environments. This role involves welding large industrial steel components in a production setting where quality, precision, and consistency are critical. The ideal candidate has experience working with heavy-gauge materials and is proficient in one or more of the following welding processes: MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), or Stick (SMAW). Key Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on heavy-gauge steel components Complete structural welds in various positions as required Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings Set up and adjust welding equipment based on material thickness and specifications Ensure welds meet AWS standards and internal quality requirements Inspect welds for structural integrity and quality Maintain safe and efficient work practices in a manufacturing environment Qualifications 3+ years of professional welding experience Proficiency in at least one of the following: MIG, TIG, or Stick welding Experience working with heavy-wall or industrial-grade steel materials Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to pass a weld test during the interview process Strong attention to detail and consistent attendance
