Kountze Position Overview Alliance Industrial Group is seeking a highly skilled Alloy Welder to join our team. This role is responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of alloy materials used in industrial applications, ensuring structural integrity, precision, and compliance with all applicable codes and safety standards. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Key Responsibilities Perform welding on alloy materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys using processes including TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and Stick (SMAW) Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces Set up and operate welding equipment according to job specifications Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards, codes, and tolerances Perform repairs and modifications to existing welds and structures Conduct pre•and post-weld heat treatments when required Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA regulations Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to complete projects efficiently Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 3+ years of experience welding alloy materials in an industrial or fabrication environment Proficiency in TIG welding, particularly on stainless steel and aluminum Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols Knowledge of welding codes and standards (e.g., ASME, AWS) Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to work independently and in a team environment Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in demanding conditions Preferred Qualifications AWS certification or equivalent welding certifications Experience with pipe welding and structural welding Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods (NDT) Experience working in industrial, petrochemical, or manufacturing environments Skills & Competencies Advanced welding and fabrication skills Strong mechanical aptitude Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Effective communication and teamwork Time management and ability to meet deadlines Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Work Environment Work performed in shop and field environments, including industrial sites Exposure to heat, fumes, noise, and heavy equipment May require working at heights, in confined spaces, or in varying weather conditions Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and certifications Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Opportunities for advancement and specialized training Equal Opportunity Employer Alliance Industrial Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
