Position Overview:
CBA Automation Inc. is seeking an experienced Structural Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Krum, Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience fabricating and welding structural steel, reading blueprints, operating fabrication equipment, and producing quality work in a safe and efficient manner. This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime and advancement within a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and weld structural steel components Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Perform layout, fitting, and assembly of structural steel members Perform MIG and Stick welding as required Cut, grind, fit, and prepare materials for fabrication Operate fabrication equipment and power tools safely and efficiently Inspect completed work to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy Follow all company safety policies and procedures Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of structural welding and fabrication experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings Experience welding carbon steel structural members Experience with MIG and Stick welding required Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment and power tools Strong attention to detail and workmanship Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Valid driver's license preferred Preferred Qualifications AWS Certification Experience with field installation of structural steel Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, and overhead cranes Industrial, oilfield, or commercial construction experience
