Welder/Fabricator

We are currently seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator for full-time employment with opportunity for advancement in a growing steel fabrication and erection company. Relevant work/schooling experience required; a coupon weld test and fit-up tests will be given during the interview process. Position Description - Desired candidate will meet or exceed the following: A minimum of 3 years welding or fabrication experience Ideal candidate will be proficient in GMAW and SMAW (certifications a plus) Ability to operate a plasma cutter, oxy-fuel torch, bandsaws and other metal fabrication equipment Ability to accurately read and fabricate using shop drawings, blueprints and material cut-lists Ideal applicant will be a self-starter that does not require constant supervision. Attention to detail and ability to produce quality fabricated parts in a specific time frame is a MUST Experience with steel erection, iron working and field installation recommended

Compensation & Hours:

Pay will be determined upon experience and prior knowledge. We are willing to work with your schedule, but typical shop hours are 7am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday. 40 hours per week currently available, but can change depending on workload.
