Job Description

AUTOMOTIVE WELDER
Monday
  • Friday, Saturdays as needed 7:00 am
  • 3:30 pm $20.00
  • $23.
00 per hour, DOE
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform MIG, arc, and gas welding on automotive and heavy equipment components Fabricate, modify, and repair metal parts and structural components Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Conduct inspections and routine maintenance on welding equipment and machinery Diagnose equipment issues and recommend repair solutions Use cutting tools, including oxy-acetylene torches and air carbon arc equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately Plan and prioritize daily tasks to meet production deadlines
JOB REQUIREMENTS
MIG, ARC, and gas welding experience; must pass weld test Able to work with various metals, including steel, cast components, and aluminum Able to read and interpret blueprints and tape measure Must have steel-toe boots, FR clothing, welding hood & gloves Basic math skills
