Duties/Responsibilities:

Fabricates new or replacement metal parts and components for production products Assembles component parts using hand tools and small power tools Conducts first-piece and in-process inspections, adjusts as necessary to meet specifications and quality standards Ensures accurate machine operation Assists with equipment change-overs

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to read and understand welding symbols and terminology Ability to read and follow weldment assembly drawings Solid understanding of proper welding procedures Steady hands and good hand-eye coordination Physical strength and endurance High aptitude for math; ability to read and understand blueprints Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Self-motivated and able to work independently Commitment to all aspects of safety Able to handle working on and completing projects within tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism

Education and Experience:

2+ years' experience as a Welder; Certification or Licensed preferred Forklift experience is helpful, but not required Bi-lingual Spanish a plus

Work Hours:
