In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality products that meet strict safety and quality standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and fabrication skills. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints to guide fabrication and welding processes. Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques to assemble metal structures and components. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal, ductwork, and piping. Measure materials accurately with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and alignment. Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts for material handling and assembly tasks on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Fabricate custom parts using blueprints. Maintain safety protocols by inspecting tools and equipment regularly, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations during fabrication activities. Qualifications Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background involving metal fabrication. Proficiency in
MIG, TIG, FCAW
welding techniques; experience with welding preferred. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, and machining tools. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience working with sheet metal, ductwork, pipe threading, soldering, and assembly processes. Valid certification in welding (AWS or equivalent) is highly desirable; experience with ASME codes & standards is a plus.
