Welder / Fabricator - Heavy Equipment & Field Projects Drewery Construction - Nacogdoches, TX Drewery Construction is hiring a full-time welder/fabricator to support our heavy equipment fleet and job site operations. This is a hands-on position for someone who can weld, fabricate, problem solve, and work independently both in the shop and in the field. This is not production welding. The work changes constantly and includes equipment repair, fabrication, hard surfacing, and custom projects needed to keep operations moving.

Primary Duties Include:

Welding and fabrication on heavy equipment and related components Hard surfacing wear items and repair welding Building and repairing items such as: Fences Gates Cattle guards Attachment stands Miscellaneous custom job site projects Operating company welding machines and service truck Working both in the shop and at job sites Minor mechanic work related to repairs being performed Basic 12V electrical wiring and troubleshooting as needed Cutting, fitting, grinding, measuring, and layout work

Requirements:

Experience with MIG, stick, and fabrication work TIG welding experience is a plus Ability to work without constant supervision Strong safety mentality is required Ability to work well with others is required Valid Texas driver's license Minimum 5 years driving experience Ability to safely operate tools and equipment Must be dependable and able to work in outdoor conditions when required Heavy equipment repair experience is preferred
