Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts. Operate cranes, forklifts, rigging equipment, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other machinery safely to handle heavy materials. Fabricate ductwork, sheet metal components, piping systems through threading and soldering techniques while adhering to ASME codes & standards. Measure materials using basic math skills to cut, shape, and assemble components with high accuracy. Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or manufacturing floors to maintain a secure work environment. Assist in mechanical assembly processes including pipe threading, machining, and component installation. Support fabrication tasks such as plasma cutting, bending with press brake machines, and assembly of structural elements using schematics. Collaborate effectively with team members on projects involving scaffolding setup, rigging for heavy lifts, or mechanical installations.
