San Antonio, Texas, United States Talascend is currently seeking an Industrial Pipe Welder for a contract opportunity with our client in San Antonio, Texas. Overview Seeking experienced P22 pipe welders for work at a coal-fired power plant. this role involves high-pressure chrome-moly piping and requires x-ray quality welds in a safety-critical industrial environment. Responsibilities Weld P22 chrome-moly piping using tig and stick processes
Produce x-ray quality welds to asme standards
Follow all welding procedures including preheat, interpass, and pwht
Read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings
Maintain strict safety and quality compliance Qualifications Experience welding p22 or similar alloy piping
Ability to pass x-ray weld test
power plant or heavy industrial experience preferred
