Rigg's Machine & Welding is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. This position involves fabricating and repairing metal structures using a variety of welding techniques. Candidates may specialize in TIG, MIG, or Stick welding, with a preference for Stick. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work from blueprints and specifications. Key Responsibilities Perform welding using TIG, MIG, and/or Stick methods (Stick preferred) Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials for each job Inspect finished welds to ensure accuracy, quality, and structural integrity Repair and fabricate metal components and structures Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper operation Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area Qualifications Previous welding experience required Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and quality control Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Welding test required Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and handle materials as needed Comfortable working in a shop environment Schedule
Monday-Friday:
7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday:
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Pay & Employment Type
