Job Description

We are partnering with a growing manufacturing company to hire an experienced
  • Welder
  • with strong
  • MIG and TIG
  • experience. This is a hands-on role supporting production of precision welded assemblies in a fast-paced shop environment. Ideal candidates take pride in quality workmanship, safety, and consistency.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Welding & Fabrication
  • + Perform
  • GMAW (MIG)
  • welding in flat, horizontal, vertical, and occasional overhead positions + Perform
  • GTAW (TIG)
  • welding on select products and assemblies as needed + Set up and operate welding equipment, including wire selection, amperage, voltage, wire feed speed, and pulse settings based on work instructions + Produce clean, structurally sound welds with proper penetration, bead profile, travel speed, and torch angle + Prepare materials and joints for welding through cleaning, grinding, clamping, fitting, and tack welding + Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures •Quality & Inspection•+ Perform visual inspection of completed welds for quality and conformance + Verify proper tie-ins, starts/stops, and pass consistency + Complete repair work and rework using approved methods when needed + Maintain high workmanship standards and minimize defects or nonconforming product + Support first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks •Finishing & Material Handling•+ Remove slag, spatter, and excess weld material + Clean and finish welded surfaces to specification + Preheat materials when required using approved methods + Safely move and handle parts, tools, and finished assemblies •Safety & Teamwork•+ Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements + Maintain a clean and organized work area + Work closely with production, quality, and leadership teams to meet schedules + Support additional shop duties as needed •Qualifications•+ High school diploma or GED preferred + Technical/vocational welding training is a plus + •3+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience•in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment + Ability to pass a hands-on welding test during interview process + Strong understanding of weld symbols, blueprints, and measuring tools + Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures + Basic math skills for measurements and calculations + Reliable attendance and strong work ethic •Preferred Experience•+ Experience welding pipe, pressure vessels, or structural components + Familiarity with quality standards and inspection processes + Experience in a high-mix or custom fabrication environment •Why Apply?
