Job Description
Helion is hiring and we are looking to add a highly motivated MIG Welder to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment . Responsibilities Perform production MIG welding using .052 wire Weld at 27-30 amps with wire speeds around 400-500 Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols Weld structural steel components including: Joists Ibeams Webbing Connection plates Stiffeners Supporting brackets Weld parts that have already been fit-up and prepared Maintain quality welds while meeting production goals Work effectively with a crew in a team-oriented environment Qualifications Previous MIG welding experience in a production or structural steel environment Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols Pass 1G and 2G Unlimited Weld Test Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing setting Standing, lifting, and working around heavy steel throughout the shift
