Hiring for Fitter/Welders Night Shift Only This position is for night shift only, 4:30PM to 3:00AM. Four days a week, 10 hour shifts. This position requires a highly self motivated individual with the ability to think ahead and take pride in maintaining the highest standards of quality while keeping the best interest of the customer in mind. Must demonstrate safe practices and the ability to communicate with management and fellow employees. A qualified applicant must also be available to work some OT. Candidate must have minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret drawings is a must for fitter applicants. A good attitude is a must for all applicants. Duties and Responsibilities Review blueprints to ensure you have the proper equipment and materials Fit, weld, gouge, grind and cut as necessary to complete the given job Complete work in the allotted time Verify and inspect your work Follow all safety protocols and clean up your workspace upon completion Tools needed Welding hood, striker, scraper, wire brush and tape measure will be required at minimum. All fitters will need level, straight edge, tape measure, square, hammer, clamps and various other tools as required per job. All fitters and welders will be weld tested per

AWS D1.1

Structural Welding Code. The weld test will be full penetration done in 2G on 1 thick plate with back gouge. Wire used will be .045 dual shield flux core. Completed weld tests will undergo guided bend testing. Results of guided bend test will determine eligibility for hire.
