• 4:30 PM Industry construction, trades & mining (Construction and Extraction Occupations) Reference number S_173298 Spherion Staffing is accepting applications for entry level and experienced TIG Welders for a machine/ manufacturing shop in Wichita Falls, TX!

. Working hours are Monday-Friday 8-10 hour shifts, with pay depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

The chief responsibilities will include interpreting designs, monitoring machinery, and assessing welded components.

• Operates both hand and power tools used in fit/weld area
• Assemble products with hand, electric, and air powered tools
• Expected to perform all quality checks as defined in work order packet, inspecting products using precision measuring equipment, tape measures and visual comparison.
• Maintain a safe environment while rigging and moving equipment and/or parts.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
• Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.

PM Skills:

Welding school diploma preferred Knowledge of algebra and geometry is very beneficial Knowledge of welding machinery and electrical equipment ... Have a steady hand and outstanding attention to detail. Working knowledge of overhead cranes and proper rigging techniques

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:
