Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our manufacturing and construction teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from fabricating custom components to assembling structures on-site. The ideal candidate will be passionate about precision welding and fitting, eager to apply their mechanical knowledge, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components. Perform various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <

Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and sheet metal fabrication equipment to cut, shape, bend, and assemble materials. Measure dimensions accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools; perform basic math calculations for fabrication tolerances. Execute pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and assembly of structural components for construction or manufacturing projects. Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely for lifting and positioning heavy materials or assemblies. Conduct quality inspections using schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to ensure all work meets project specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols; participate in safety meetings and hazard assessments regularly. Collaborate with team members on-site or in the workshop to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. Assist with mechanical assembly tasks including soldering, machining, and mechanical fitting as needed for project completion. Skills Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of site safety protocols. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques; familiarity with <

Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, calipers, micrometers, and other fabrication equipment. Knowledge of rigging operations including crane handling for lifting heavy materials safely. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, assembly processes, and schematics interpretation. Experience working with sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tolerances. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team under tight deadlines.
