Job Description

Skillforce is hiring experienced MIG Welders and Metal Fabricators to support production at a well-established power equipment manufacturer in Henrico, VA. You will be fabricating metal enclosures and structural assemblies for industrial power systems using MIG and other welding processes. Pay is up to $32/hr based on your skillset and experience.
Welder Responsibilities:
Fabricate metal enclosures, frames, and structural components from raw materials using MIG welding as the primary process Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications Set up and operate welding machinery, grinders, and fabrication equipment required for assigned tasks Select appropriate welding materials, rods, and consumables based on job requirements Conduct visual inspections of finished welds to ensure structural integrity, quality standards, and customer specifications are met Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with all shop safety protocols
Welder Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on welding/fabrication experience required Proficient MIG welding is required — this is the primary process used on the job TIG welding experience is a plus Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship Your own reliable transportation and valid driver's license
