451 Southlake Blvd, Richmond, VA, 23236, United States We are seeking skilled and experienced Welders to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. The Welders will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components to create high-performance coils and heat exchangers.
Requirements:
Welding and Fabrication:
Perform various welding techniques including TIG, MIG, and stick welding to assemble and fabricate metal components Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly Set up welding machines and select appropriate welding methods based on project requirements
Quality Control:
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications Identify and correct any welding defects or imperfections Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while performing welding tasks Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean and safe work environment Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to a culture of safety within the team
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. Communicate effectively regarding project status, issues, and improvements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Certification in welding or relevant experience Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to lift and move heavy objects
