At least 1 year of job experience OR Completion of a Welding Certification/Education Program is preferred Job Description The Welder will weld, cut, and braze metal pieces and products by using flame-cutting and hand welding equipment. Responsibilities Plan details of work order procedures; gather required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job. Operate manual and automated welding units and equipment utilizing wire feed welding techniques. Repair and fabricate various items and equipment using blueprints, measuring devices, cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment. Monitor the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage. Prepare, assemble, and tack weld parts and surfaces to be welded. Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and the work area. Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered. Conduct quality control evaluations on completed welds. Pay Rate $20

• $30 per hour (depending on experience) Shift 6AM
• 4:30PM (Mon
• Thur) & OT on Fridays Essential Skills Experience with Mig welding, including aluminum and steel welding, with 1-4 years of experience with wire feed welding.

1-3 years of fabrication with welding and layout experience. Knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Completion of a formal apprenticeship or welding program, or successful completion of an in-company, three-year training program is required. 1-3 years of mechanical experience with hydraulics is preferred. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00
