Job Title:
Day Sawyer Job Description Set up and operate fabrication equipment to cut parts according to drawings and diagrams. Responsibilities Operate fabrication equipment efficiently and safely. Cut parts with precision, adhering to specified drawings and diagrams. Prepare parts for fabrication by ensuring proper lengths and dimensions according to blueprints. Utilize machines effectively for part preparation. Examine drawings to determine appropriate layouts for parts before welding. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating cutting equipment. Ability to interpret drawings and blueprints for accurate part layout. Experience with press brake, tooling, and dies. Additional Skills & Qualifications Capability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically. Comfortable with bending, twisting, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a fabrication shop with open bays, which can be hot in the summer and cool in the winter. The environment is loud, and you will be on your feet all day. The role involves significant physical activity, including bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
