Fabricator/Welder

Day Shift ONLY, Monday through Friday with overtime in the busier months We do not travel. We are a one location company. Must be able to pass a pre employment Urinary Analysis. Looking for someone willing to work in a shop environment. Duties include, (but not limited to); MIG Welding (GMAW/FCAW), fabricating, fitting and assembling steel parts and structures to blue prints, and verbal or written instructions. Using steel shears, press brakes, cold cutting saws, bandsaws and other fabrication equipment. Operation of material handling equipment including bridge cranes and forklifts. CNC equipment operation may be required depending on production needs. Employee will be trained in safety and efficiency standards. Good math skills (decimals and fractions) and ability to read a tape measure is a must. Basic addition and subtraction is needed. Basic understanding of measurements and measuring tools is needed. This includes measuring lengths and angles using a variety of tools. Employee will be required provide their own hand tools (such as tape measure, square, hammer, wrenches etc.) A tool list will be provided. Must be mechanically inclined. Experience with FCAW and GMAW welding processes required. WABO certification in GMAW or FCAW is preferred. Metal fabrication experience preferred. Candidate must be dependable. Compensation is dependent on previous experience.
