Job Description Job Title:
Welder-Medium and Heavy Plate Welding- Weld to AWS, ASME or customer specification
Weld Types:
GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and SAW (submerged arc welding)- Select and install proper welding wires and gas mixtures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical education in welding preferred
- Ability to weld medium and heavy-duty plate and other structures
- Experience with 3/32 flux core submerge arc preferred
- Knowledge of various welding procedures
- Ability to read drawings
- Knowledge of various weld symbols
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Experience with operating cranes and forklifts
