Job Title:

Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled welder who is proficient in various welding techniques and can work with mild steel and other materials. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting blueprints and operating machinery to assist in the production process. Responsibilities Perform welding tasks using MIG and flux core techniques, focusing on 90% mild steel and 10% other materials. Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure precise welding. Weld in all positions as required by project specifications. Operate brake press and shears to assist in the production process. Assemble materials and equipment as needed for production. Inspect finished products for defects to ensure adherence to quality standards. Assist in loading raw materials to production lines and transporting raw materials across the facility. Lift materials weighing up to 50lbs as part of the production process. Essential Skills Expertise in fabrication, MIG welding, and flux core welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. At least 3 years of MIG welding experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Having a relevant degree is a nice-to-have but not required. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work in a quiet shop environment, where only 13 people, including management, are on the floor. The work involves collaborating in pairs, operating during the first shift from Monday through Thursday, 5:30am to 3:30pm, with optional overtime on Fridays. The company provides all necessary equipment except for a welding helmet and steel-toed shoes. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Watertown, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr. Benefits/Insurance - sign up for what you need rather than having to sign up for everything 401k, 3% match (if you're contributing 100%) 2% (if you're contributing 50%)
