Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team at Graber Manufacturing, Inc. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in both MIG and TIG welding processes, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal components to meet project specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols. Inspect welds for accuracy, completeness, and structural integrity. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain workflow efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues as they arise, making adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding techniques. 1-3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Proficient in the use of welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welding machines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds. Knowledge of safety protocols and practices related to welding. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Work Environment:
The majority of work will be performed in a manufacturing facility with noise levels typical to that environment.
