Job Title:

Welder - 1st Shift Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Welder, where you will be responsible for performing MIG (GMAW) and Flux-Cored (FCAW) welding on structural steel and fabricated components. This role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings, as well as to layout, fit, and weld parts according to specifications. You will inspect welds for quality, defects, and compliance with standards, and use hand tools, grinders, and measuring instruments like tape measures, squares, and calipers. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area is essential, and you will work collaboratively with fabrication, engineering, and quality teams. Responsibilities Perform MIG (GMAW) and Flux-Cored (FCAW) welding on structural steel and fabricated components. Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings. Layout, fit, and weld parts according to specifications. Inspect welds for quality, defects, and compliance with standards. Use hand tools, grinders, and measuring instruments. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area. Work collaboratively with fabrication, engineering, and quality teams. Follow all safety procedures and AISC quality requirements. Work Environment:

4-10 Schedule Work the 1st shift hours from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 2nd Shift hours 3:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. from Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Wausau, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
