Job Summary:

We are looking for a confident, competent, and dependable Marine Construction Laborer who is comfortable working on or near the water. This is a hands-on, physical labor position that includes site work and construction of various marine and shoreline structures. You'll rarely work alone and will be trained as needed. We are open to hiring applicants of any age who are able-bodied and willing to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in building and maintaining docks, piers, seawalls, beach stairs, floating docks, bulkheads, and revetments Perform tasks such as pile driving, dredging, beach renourishment, and carpentry Install helical anchors and assist with hydraulic equipment as needed Operate or assist with equipment such as boats, trailers, scows, barges, cranes, excavators, and loaders Use tools including saws, drills, grinders, screw guns, and welders Safely tie or strap loads to trailers, and practice proper knot tying and rigging techniques Drive vehicles as needed and help load and unload equipment and materials Follow all safety protocols - PPE and tools are provided

Qualifications:

Comfortable and confident working around or on the water Basic construction or mechanical skills are a plus Able-bodied, dependable, and physically fit Willing to learn and follow direction Team player with a good attitude Must be punctual and ready to work consistently Experience in marine construction, hydraulics, or a CDL is a plus and may qualify for higher pay or benefits
