Marine Mechanic

Experienced Marine Mechanic - Four-Stroke Outboards Unreel Marine is looking for an experienced Marine Mechanic to join our growing team. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented technician with strong diagnostic and repair experience on modern four-stroke outboard engines. If you take pride in quality workmanship, can troubleshoot efficiently, and enjoy working in a fast-paced marine environment, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair four-stroke outboard engines Perform routine maintenance including tune-ups, impellers, lower unit service, and fuel system repairs Troubleshoot electrical, ignition, fuel, and cooling systems Conduct engine rigging, controls installation, and propeller setup Complete repairs accurately and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work environment Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding repairs and recommendations Qualifications 5+ years of marine mechanic experience preferred Strong knowledge of four-stroke outboards (Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki) Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues independently Experience with marine diagnostic software/tools is a plus Valid driver's license Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop/outdoor environment Positive attitude and strong work ethic What We Offer Competitive pay Opportunities for advancement Supportive team environment Full-time, year-round work Paid holidays and vacation Training opportunities and manufacturer certifications How to Apply Please submit your resume and relevant experience through Indeed or contact us directly at 727-856-2628 or brad@unreelmarine.com.
