Job Description

Service Manager Our client is seeking an experienced, driven, and team-oriented professional to join their organization as a Service Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the effectiveness, efficiency, and profitability of the service and parts departments at an assigned location. Key Responsibilities Lead by example in promoting and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards across the department. Develop, implement, and improve processes and procedures that support customer service excellence and achieve business financial objectives. Oversee inventory control systems to ensure parts and accessories are available to meet internal, warranty, and retail customer requirements. Manage customer follow-up processes to drive repeat business, strengthen customer relationships, and increase referral opportunities. Monitor and track departmental profitability. Review parts and service pricing in comparison to market competitors and provide recommendations for competitive positioning. Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments, extended teams, and external vendors. Supervise department staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, disciplinary action, and termination when necessary. Oversee ordering, shipping, and receiving activities for parts and accessories, ensuring the right balance between inventory availability, cash flow, and customer satisfaction. Establish, enforce, and refine department policies and operational procedures as needed. Manage service, maintenance, and repair operations to improve efficiency and service delivery. Coordinate warranty and return parts processes in partnership with the appropriate internal stakeholders. Ensure all team members consistently follow workplace safety standards, policies, and procedures. Provide support to other departments as needed to ensure customer needs are met. Partner with the sales team to support timely product delivery, including additional customer requirements and repair-related needs. Identify and refer potential sales opportunities to the sales team. Maintain accurate departmental records in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Communicate with customers in a professional, courteous, and service-focused manner. Attend assigned meetings and participate in company initiatives as required. Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
