About Flying Bridge Marina Flying Bridge Marina is a premier full-service marina dedicated to providing exceptional boating experiences. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Technician to join our service team at our Fairhaven location. The ideal candidate holds Yamaha or Mercury outboard certification and is passionate about delivering high-quality marine service and repairs. This is a full-time, year-round position with room for growth. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on outboard and inboard marine engines Perform warranty and non-warranty service on Yamaha and/or Mercury engines Conduct pre-delivery inspections and rigging of new boats Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and fuel system issues Complete accurate service records, repair orders, and parts documentation Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair status Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Stay current with manufacturer training, bulletins, and technical updates Required Qualifications Yamaha Marine Technician Certification OR Mercury Marine Technician Certification (required) Minimum 2 years of hands-on marine engine repair and service experience Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions Preferred Qualifications Certifications in both Yamaha and Mercury platforms Experience with sterndrive, inboard, or personal watercraft service Familiarity with marine electrical systems and
NMEA 2000
