About the Marketing Team Dean Dorton's Marketing team plays a critical role in driving growth, visibility, and strategic positioning for the firm. Through thoughtful storytelling, targeted campaigns, and cross-functional collaboration, we help elevate our brand and build meaningful relationships with clients and communities across all industries we serve. About the Role The Marketing Administrative Assistant provides essential support to the Marketing team, ensuring smooth operations, clear communication, and timely coordination of projects. This role is responsible for assisting with scheduling, reporting, event logistics, and marketing asset management while helping maintain a high-performing, well-organized team environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The essential duties & responsibilities of the Marketing Administrative Assistant role are outlined below in correlation with Dean Dorton's performance management impact areas.Technical Definition:
your specialized knowledge & expertise associated with the work you perform for/with clients (note: clients may be internal to Dean Dorton). Support marketing operations and project coordination efforts, requiring a variety of tasks that may include: Managing calendars and scheduling for marketing leadership and team meetings Preparing, formatting, and editing marketing documents, presentations, and reports Organizing and maintaining marketing files, templates, and brand assets Assisting with invoice processing, budget tracking, and vendor coordination Tracking campaign timelines, deliverables, and registration for events and sponsorships Providing administrative support for proposals, RFP responses, and marketing requests Helping update website and digital platforms (basic posting and content uploads)Behavioral Definition:

Contribute to the success and cohesion of the Marketing team beyond daily administrative tasks, requiring a variety of efforts that may include: Supporting employee communications and firm culture initiatives Helping document and maintain team processes and resources Participating in team development efforts, knowledge sharing, and internal training Engaging with industry tools, trends, and platforms to support team learning Experience & Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field) 1-3 years of administrative or marketing support experience (professional services or corporate environment preferred) Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Familiarity with CRM, CMS, and project management tools (e.g., HubSpot, WordPress, Asana) is a plus Detail-oriented, resourceful, and proactive with a collaborative mindset Ability to travel as needed Software & Tools Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) Project management platforms (e.g., Asana) Content management systems (e.g., WordPress or similar) Adobe Acrobat and Canva (basic design/editing) Travel This position may require occasional travel to Dean Dorton offices, events, or industry functions.
