Job Description

Marketing Project Manager
  • Commercialization/GTM Hyrbid in Minneapolis 3-4 days on-site per week Contract to hire $40
  • 50/hr DOE and full benefits (health, dental, vision, 401K, PTO) Overview We are seeking a Marketing Project Manager
  • Commercialization/GTM to support a large CPG organization with a portfolio of well-known, household name brands.
This role will help bring new consumer products to market across a fast-growing product portfolio. This is a highly cross-functional project management role focused on commercialization, go-to-market readiness, innovation timelines, launch execution, and stakeholder coordination . The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, highly collaborative, and comfortable managing complex timelines across marketing, sales, packaging, supply chain, R D, finance, digital/ecommerce, vendors, and global partners. This is not a traditional brand management role. The focus is on commercialization and GTM excellence — making sure new products move through the process, teams stay aligned, deliverables are completed, and launches are set up for success. What You'll Do Manage commercialization and go-to-market projects from concept through launch for a fast-growing CPG portfolio. Lead cross-functional timelines, milestones, deliverables, and launch readiness across multiple product categories. Partner with marketing, sales, supply chain, packaging, R D, finance, digital shelf/ecommerce, vendors, and global stakeholders. Coordinate new product innovation, product renovations, packaging updates, SKU initiatives, and GTM deliverables. Ensure key commercialization, launch, and Stage Gate deliverables are completed on time and aligned with business priorities. Track project status, risks, dependencies, approvals, and next steps to keep stakeholders accountable and informed. Support launch readiness beyond product shipment, including sales enablement, digital shelf readiness, PDP content needs, key selling points, and customer-facing materials. Coordinate packaging timelines, approvals, feedback loops, and cross-functional handoffs. Navigate supply chain complexity, imported products, changing timelines, and evolving internal processes. Communicate clearly and professionally across teams, including stakeholders in different time zones and countries. Help identify process gaps, solve problems, and bring structure to a high-growth, fast-moving environment. What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of experience in marketing project management, commercialization, GTM execution, innovation, product launch, marketing operations, CPG, food, packaging, supply chain, or related areas. Strong ability to manage complex cross-functional projects, timelines, approvals, and deliverables. Experience supporting commercialization, innovation, Stage Gate, new product launch, or product development processes preferred. CPG, food, retail, consumer products, private label, packaging, or food manufacturing experience is highly relevant. Ability to influence without direct authority and keep stakeholders aligned. Strong written communication skills, especially in email-heavy, cross-functional environments. Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and evolving processes. Strong attention to detail with the ability to see both the big picture and the critical project details. Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Slack, Excel, SAP, packaging systems, or similar platforms. Professional maturity, curiosity, and a solutions-oriented mindset. Experience working with international teams, imported products, or global stakeholders is a plus. Conversational Korean is a plus, but not required. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate has strong project management discipline and can confidently drive timelines across multiple teams. They may come from commercialization, marketing operations, GTM, innovation, packaging, product launch, or CPG project management. They do not need to be a career commercialization manager, but they should have experience managing complex projects where marketing, operations, supply chain, packaging, sales, and external partners all need to stay aligned. Why This Role Is Exciting This is an opportunity to support a high-growth area within a large CPG organization and work on products connected to household name brands. You'll help bring new consumer products to market while partnering with a collaborative, fast-moving team. The work is dynamic, highly visible, and connected to both U.S. and global business priorities. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys turning strategy into execution, bringing structure to complex launches, and helping cross-functional teams move from idea to market. The core JD aligns with commercialization responsibilities including cross-functional timelines, Stage Gate deliverables, launch execution, project KPIs, and innovation process management.
