As a Sales & Marketing Intern you will be responsible for working closely with marketing, sales, and cross-functional teams to help tell our product story, support ongoing sales initiatives, and ensure consistent messaging across customer-facing materials. Reporting directly to the Manager, Marketing & Communications, this position is based in Shreveport, LA. This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work and reside in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virgina, Wisconsin or Wyoming. Due to payroll, tax, and employment law requirements, applicants must be located in one of these states at time of hire. Key Responsibilities Marketing Support Assist with creating and updating marketing materials such as product sell sheets, brochures, presentations, email campaigns, and website content Help maintain product information, specs, and messaging across internal and external platforms Support digital marketing efforts including email campaigns, website updates, and basic social media content Organize and maintain digital asset libraries (photos, spec sheets, logos, product documentation) Conduct market, customer, or competitor research related to manufacturing products and equipment Provide support for trade shows, training events, factory visits, or product launches Sales Support Assist in preparing sales tools such as presentations, customer proposals, and distributor materials Help update and organize CRM systems, lead lists, and sales activity tracking Support the sales team with follow-ups, reporting, and coordination of customer-facing materials Shadow sales meetings to learn about dealer/distributor relationships and the B2B sales process
Qualifications Education & Experience:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Industrial Marketing, or a related field
  • Interest in manufacturing, industrial products, or B2B marketing and sales
Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with tools such as Canva, CRM systems, or content management tools is a plus
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
