Job Overview At 101 Things To Do, we create destination travel magazines, maps, and digital media that inspire visitors to explore the Oregon Coast, Southern Oregon, and Northern California. Our publications are trusted visitor resources distributed throughout hotels, visitor centers, chambers, restaurants, and attractions across the region. We're looking for a relationship-driven Regional Tourism Media Sales Manager who enjoys travel, meeting people, and representing a respected regional brand businesses genuinely want to be part of. This role combines strategic territory development, tourism industry networking, and creative marketing collaboration while helping promote some of the West Coast's most sought-after destinations. As a long-established print leader continuing to grow into digital media and destination marketing partnerships, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-known and evolving regional travel brand.. Responsibilities Develop and grow advertising partnerships throughout Oregon and Northern California coastal markets Build relationships with tourism businesses, chambers of commerce, visitor bureaus, hotels, restaurants, attractions, wineries, retailers, and regional organizations Conduct planned regional travel campaigns and in-person client meetings throughout assigned territories Prospect and generate new business through outreach, networking, referrals, and relationship development Manage and renew existing advertising accounts while identifying opportunities for long-term growth Collaborate with clients on creative marketing ideas, ad positioning, editorial opportunities, and digital visibility Represent the company at tourism events, networking functions, chamber events, and regional industry gatherings Maintain organized sales activity, follow-up communication, and account tracking within company systems Coordinate internally with production, operations, and creative teams to support client campaigns and publication deadlines Assist in identifying regional stories, trends, photography opportunities, and tourism-focused content while traveling throughout the territory Travel Expectations First 90 days primarily focused on onboarding, relationship immersion, and internal systems training with approximately 2 regional trips per month After onboarding, role transitions into a structured regional field-sales schedule averaging 2-3 travel days per week (approximately 10 travel days per month) throughout Oregon and Northern California markets Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $54,000•$64,000 annually DOE Additional commission compensation with strong growth opportunity Expected first-year earnings potential: $72,000•$85,000+ Travel reimbursement provided for approved business travel Flexible scheduling and regional travel autonomy Opportunity to grow within an established and expanding regional media company Access to tourism industry events, networking opportunities, and destination partnerships throughout
