Job Description

Head of Marketing About the Role We're looking for a Head of Marketing to own brand, strategy, and creative across our portfolio of companies. You'll lead marketing from pre-launch through launch and beyond — building positioning from scratch, directing the creative, shooting and producing video content, and showing up in person at trade shows, events, and on-site shoots to capture the real moments that make a brand feel alive. You won't be doing this alone. You'll direct a production team that handles logo design, websites, social media graphics, and marketing collateral. Your job is to set the vision, write the briefs, hold the bar on quality, and personally create the content that can't be made from a desk halfway around the world. This is a hands-on leadership role. If you want a seat where you direct others all day and never touch a camera or a deck, this isn't it. What You'll Do Develop the marketing strategy for each company pre-launch: positioning, audience, messaging, channel mix, and launch plan Lead all creative direction — brand identity, voice, visual system, campaign concepts — and brief the offshore team to execute against it Shoot, direct, and edit hero video content: launch videos, founder content, product stories, and brand films Travel to trade shows, events, and company sites to capture video, photography, and behind-the-scenes content Plan and execute launch campaigns across organic, paid, email, PR, and partnerships Manage and QA the work of an offshore production team (design, web, social, collateral) Build content calendars and ensure consistent output across each company's channels Track what's working, report on it clearly, and adjust What We're Looking For 3+ years in marketing, with real depth in both strategy and creative production A portfolio that shows strong video work — not just "I made a video once," but content you're genuinely proud of Experience launching brands or products from zero, ideally more than once Comfortable on both sides of the camera, in the edit bay (Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar), and in a strategy doc Strong written briefing skills — you can articulate a creative vision clearly enough that a team can execute it without you in the room Willing to travel for trade shows, events, and shoots (estimate: a couple trips per year) Bias toward ownership — you don't wait to be told what to do Nice to Have Experience marketing across multiple brands or in a portfolio/holdco environment Photography skills Motion graphics or animation experience Paid media experience (you don't need to run ads day-to-day, but you should know what good looks like) Background launching DTC or B2B brands
