Career ResourcesCandidate Experience Sign Up Join Our Talent Network Head of Marketing Malvern, PA Full-TimeHybrid$170,000 - $180,000 /yr Posted April 01, 2026 Our client is looking for a Head of Marketing to join their team in a hybrid capacity, onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays in Malvern, PA. The Head of Marketing is a senior leader responsible for defining, owning, and executing the marketing strategy to drive awareness, growth, and long-term organizational outcomes for our client. This role leads a lean, high performing marketing organization and serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership. The ideal candidate is a proven people leader who brings clarity, steadiness, and empathy to their leadership approach; has owned marketing strategy end-to-end; and can confidently make and articulate decisions and tradeoffs in a dynamic, high growth environment. Success in this role requires both strategic vision and hands-on leadership, with a strong emphasis on cultural alignment and executive level communication.
Head of Marketing Responsibilities:
Own the marketing strategy end-to-end, from long-term vision through execution, measurement, and optimization. Set clear priorities and make informed decisions, confidently articulating tradeoffs to senior leadership. Lead brand positioning, demand generation, client engagement, and thought leadership efforts to support organizational growth and mission impact. Shape and mature the marketing function, evolving capabilities, processes, and operating rhythm rather than inheriting a fully built organization. Use data, analytics, and market insights to inform marketing decisions and connect initiatives to measurable business and organizational outcomes. Develop and manage marketing metrics, ROI measurement, and performance reporting to guide continuous improvement. Anticipate long-term trends and opportunities, ensuring marketing strategy aligns with enterprise priorities and future growth. Build, lead, mentor, and develop a diverse, high performing marketing team, fostering a people-first, inclusive, and collaborative culture. Provide clear leadership through change, balancing empathy with accountability and performance expectations. Actively coach leaders and individual contributors, supporting professional growth, succession planning, and team stability over time. Serve as a senior leader who communicates clearly, confidently, and credibly at the executive level. Articulate marketing vision, priorities, and outcomes to leadership and cross functional partners. Build strong, collaborative relationships across the organization to drive alignment and shared success. Lead marketing operations in a lean environment, balancing strategic direction with hands-on execution when needed. Manage marketing budgets, agency relationships, and external partners with strong financial and operational discipline. Ensure marketing programs are scalable, efficient, and aligned with organizational growth.
Head of Marketing Requirements:
Demonstrated, senior level people leadership experience with a clear, articulated leadership philosophy; this role is not designed for first-time people leaders. Proven success building, leading, and developing teams through growth, change, and evolving organizational needs. Leadership style that is empathetic, collaborative, steady, and people-first rather than rigid or transactional. Extensive experience owning marketing strategy end-to-end, including setting direction, making decisions, and defending tradeoffs. Track record of connecting marketing initiatives to broader organizational or business outcomes. Experience developing and maturing marketing functions in lean or high growth environments. Strong long-term, strategic thinker with comfort using data and analytics to guide decisions. Ability to synthesize complex information and translate insights into clear, actionable strategy. Experience measuring performance, ROI, and impact across marketing initiatives. Exceptional executive level communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to articulate marketing vision, priorities, and leadership philosophy with confidence and clarity. Demonstrated alignment with values driven, mission oriented organizations; strong cultural fit is a non-negotiable requirement. Warm, flexible, and collaborative leadership presence that mirrors our client's tone and values. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Significant progressive experience in marketing leadership roles. Experience in financial services, wealth management, or adjacent industries strongly preferred. In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
