VICE PRESIDENT, SOCIAL MEDIA & INFLUENCER MARKETING
Marketing & Innovation Reports to: SVP or EVP, Director or Chief Strategy Officer Job Summary At Calcium+Company, the VP, Social Media & Influencer Marketing is an executive leader responsible for defining and advancing the vision, growth, and enterprise integration of social media and influencer marketing across the organization. You are a transformational strategist and senior business leader who ensures social and influencer capabilities are innovative, scalable, compliant, and tightly aligned with commercial and communications priorities. You shape the long-term direction of the division, elevate agency thought leadership, and play a central role in revenue generation and organizational growth. This role requires executive-level strategic leadership, strong commercial acumen, cross-division influence, and the ability to institutionalize best-in-class capabilities across the agency. Key Job Responsibilities (Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following) Define and evolve the strategic vision for social media and influencer marketing across the strategy department and broader agency Drive enterprise-wide integration of social and influencer strategy within brand, PR, medical communications, and commercial frameworks Counsel our clients directly on digital transformation, platform governance, regulatory shifts, and influencer engagement innovation Lead development of scalable systems, tools, and frameworks that institutionalize best practices in influencer identification, contracting, content planning, measurement, and ROI analysis Lead both internal and external workshops to solicit thinking and product output that's simple, meaningful, and impactful Advance measurement sophistication by championing performance-driven KPIs and ROI modeling in collaboration with analytics leadership Represent the division in high-level pitches, industry forums, and thought leadership initiatives Oversee Group Directors, Directors, and senior leadership within the division, ensuring strong performance management, succession planning, and talent development Monitor emerging technologies, platform shifts, and regulatory developments to position the agency at the forefront of innovation Champion a culture of entrepreneurial thinking, intellectual curiosity, accountability, and measurable impact Job Qualifications (Skills/Requirements) Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field 10+ years of relevant agency or in-house experience Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including a high degree of proficiency in presenting ideas Proven executive leadership experience overseeing integrated social media and influencer marketing functions Deep expertise in healthcare/pharma regulatory environments and digital risk management Demonstrated success driving significant revenue growth and expanding enterprise-level accounts Strong executive presence and ability to influence C-suite stakeholders Advanced financial and operational management experience Track record of building and scaling high-performing teams Strategic visionary with ability to translate long-term direction into operational excellence Entrepreneurial leader committed to innovation and measurable business outcomes Willingness to go beyond what is described in the job description and be flexible for the team, and ultimately, the work For U.S. Job Seekers, it is the policy of Calcium+Company to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, religion, color, ethnic origin, gender, gender identity, age, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, disability, or any other basis prohibited by applicable federal, state, or local law.
