We're opening our first US site in Denver, and we're looking for our founding marketer on the ground the person who launches the brand in a new market and builds the local marketing engine from zero. Kota brings the Hot Box experience to the
US:
a destination for sauna, cold plunge and recovery, built around community, ritual and quality. We're part of a fast-growing group 8 locations across Ireland and expanding and Denver is the start of our US footprint. You'd be employee-early in this market, with a real mandate to make it work. Our values are simple and we hire to them: Ambition, Honesty, Quality. Why This Role Is Different This isn't a plug-into-an-existing-machine job. In Denver, you'll be the only marketing person on the ground, working alongside the on-site team and the Head of Operations, with the central marketing team (CMO, designer, social, video, paid) based in Ireland, roughly seven hours ahead. There's no local playbook yet, and the brand is unknown in the market.
We need someone entrepreneurial:
comfortable with ambiguity, able to build from scratch,and trusted to make good local calls without waiting on Dublin for every decision. Brand and overall strategy are set centrally your job is to localize them and execute brilliantly, not to redefine them.
Reporting:
How You'll Work Solid line to the CMO (Ireland) who sets brand, strategy and priorities, and briefs the big moves. Dotted line to the Head of Ops (Denver, on-site) your day-to-day partner for the site, events and local execution. Supported by the central team in Ireland for creative, social, video and paid strategy you brief them and they produce. Hybrid regular time on-site in Denver plus remote, with some overlap into Irish hours. What You'll Own Launch the market Take Denver from zero own the local launch end to end: opening campaign, awareness, grand-opening moment, and the first wave of members through the door. New business & outreach Own local outreach and new business corporate and B2B accounts, group and team bookings, and the local sales pipeline. This is a core part of the role, not an afterthought. Partnerships, press & community build relationships with Denver gyms, studios, wellness and lifestyle players, local press and creators. This is judgment we can't brief from Ireland; it's yours. Run the local marketing engine Email lifecycle (Klaviyo) once live, manage and run the lifecycle day-to-day: local segmentation, list health, scheduling and campaign sends. The lifecycle is built centrally in Ireland you own it locally from launch onward. Local content production brief and manage local videographers and content creators in Denver, working closely with the Ireland team on the content plan and strategy. Booking-website conversion own CRO for the booking flow: find drop-off, flag improvements, lift conversion. Events & membership Local events community programmes run them like campaigns: planned, promoted, attended, measured. Membership growth get the Denver membership offering live and growing. Make it measurable Founder-readable monthly reporting an honest monthly picture of what worked, what didn't, and what's next. Clean analytics & tagging so Denver's numbers can be trusted and compared. What Stays Central (Not Yours to Own) So expectations are clear, these sit with the CMO and central team in Ireland you executeand localise, you don't redefine: Brand identity and creative direction Overall marketing strategy, content plan and priorities Email lifecycle build Ireland builds and architects the flows; you run them locally once live Paid campaign management Meta and Google ads are planned and run from Ireland Core creative production (design, brand video) What We're Looking For Must-haves 5+ years in marketing, with real ownership of full campaigns end-to-end. Entrepreneurial and comfortable building from zero you've launched something into amarket with little or no brand awareness, ideally a physical location or local market. A real outreach and new-business streak comfortable opening doors, chasing corporate/B2B, group bookings, local partnerships, and building a local pipeline. Strong local-market instinct for Denver you know (or can quickly build) the wellness, fitness, recovery and lifestyle scene here. Comfortable managing Klaviyo (or an equivalent ESP) day-to-day running flows, segmentation and sends. You don't need to architect lifecycles from scratch; we build those centrally. Confidently briefing and managing local videographers and content creators against a content plan. Strong with data and ROI you make the call on what to do next, with judgment. Self-directed across a time zone gap trusted to act locally without waiting on Dublin, while staying aligned to central brand and strategy. A track record of using AI tools to move faster. Authorized to work in the US (this role does not offer visa sponsorship) and based in orwilling to relocate to the Denver area. Nice-to-haves Hospitality, wellness, fitness, lifestyle or D2C background. Experience as a first/early marketing hire in a new market or new site. Existing Denver network in wellness, fitness or local media. First 90 Days What Success Looks Like Denver launch plan built, briefed and live opening moment landed. Running the Klaviyo lifecycle locally (built centrally in Ireland) sends and segmentationin your hands. First corporate/B2B and partnership conversations opened; a local new-business pipeline taking shape. First local press and creator/videographer content produced against the content plan. Membership offering live and bringing in members. A monthly report the founder actually enjoys reading and a CMO confident Denver is handled. How to Apply
