Competitive base + performance incentives, based on experience Head of Marketing Acton Academy is reimagining education around the world. Instead of lectures, homework, and one-size-fits-all classrooms, Acton empowers young people to become curious, independent, responsible learners prepared for real life. We are looking for a Head of Marketing to help us tell that story clearly, compellingly, and consistently. This role is for someone who can think strategically, write persuasively, execute quickly, and build marketing systems that generate real results. You should be both creative and practical: someone who understands brand, messaging, funnels, content, email, social media, and paid ads — but who also cares deeply about the mission. What You'll Do You will lead marketing efforts for Acton Academy / Heroes Academy, with a focus on growing awareness, trust, and enrollment.
Responsibilities may include:
Develop and own the overall marketing strategy Clarify and sharpen our messaging for parents, owners, and the broader education movement Create compelling campaigns around enrollment, events, webinars, launches, and major announcements Write and oversee copy for emails, landing pages, ads, social posts, video scripts, and lead magnets Manage and improve marketing funnels in custom AI-powered platform and related marketing systems Help produce short-form and long-form content from speeches, podcasts, interviews, parent stories, and learner stories Lead paid advertising strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, or TikTok Track performance metrics and improve conversion rates Build simple, repeatable systems for content, campaigns, follow-up, and reporting Coordinate with designers, videographers, writers, contractors, or internal team members as needed Who You Are You may be a great fit if you are: Comfortable utilizing AI tools effectively to improve productivity, marketing execution, research, content creation, and decision-making. A strong writer and storyteller Deeply interested in education, entrepreneurship, parenting, or human development Strategic enough to build the plan, but scrappy enough to execute it Comfortable with both brand-building and direct-response marketing Good at turning big ideas into clear campaigns Data-aware without being robotic Organized, self-directed, and able to move projects forward without being micromanaged Excited by a mission bigger than just selling a product Skills We're Looking For Ideal experience includes some combination of: Marketing strategy Copywriting Email marketing Funnel building Paid ads Social media content strategy Landing page optimization Lead generation Brand positioning Video content planning CRM or marketing automation tools, especially GoHighLevel Analytics and reporting You do not need to be an expert in every area, but you should be able to lead the overall marketing function and know how to get help where needed. What Makes This Role Different This is not a generic marketing job. We are not just trying to fill seats. We are trying to help parents see a different possibility for their children: one built on responsibility, independence, character, freedom, and real-world learning. The right person will help us communicate that message in a way that is honest, compelling, and clear. Requirements Ability to effectively utilize AI tools as part of daily work Proven marketing experience with measurable results Excellent written communication skills Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities Comfort working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment Strong judgment and taste in messaging, design, and brand voice Interest in Acton Academy's mission and learner-driven education Nice to Have Experience marketing schools, education programs, coaching, communities, or mission-driven organizations Experience with GoHighLevel Experience with short-form video strategy Experience managing contractors or small creative teams Experience with parent-facing or founder-led brands How to Apply Share your resume or LinkedIn profile A few examples of marketing work you're proud of A short note answering this question: Why does the Acton Academy mission interest you, and how would you help more parents understand it?
