Summary Vice President, Marketing is a strategic and results-oriented leader that will lead and integrate both product marketing and account-based field marketing functions. This role will drive alignment across the company's marketing efforts, ensuring that product messaging, go-to-market strategies, and account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives are fully coordinated to deliver tailored solutions to public health and Medicaid state agencies. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in both product marketing and ABM strategies, with a strong ability to balance strategic thinking with executional excellence. Your role in our mission
Strategic Leadership:
Oversee and integrate the work of Product Marketing and Field Marketing/ABM Strategy to create unified marketing strategies for Gainwell's solutions, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
Develop and lead the go-to-market plans for Gainwell public health and Medicaid solutions, focusing on positioning, messaging, and differentiation across both product and account-specific marketing campaigns.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product management, sales, account leaders, and sector growth leaders to ensure that marketing efforts support both broad product initiatives and targeted ABM programs for key state accounts.
Solution Messaging & Positioning:
Ensure that core messaging and value propositions are consistent across all product and account marketing initiatives, effectively communicating the value of Gainwell's solutions to public sector decision-makers.
Field Marketing & ABM Integration:
Lead a Field Marketing/ABM team to tailor product messaging for specific state accounts, ensuring personalized marketing efforts align with broader company objectives. Sales enablement content: Lead the development of marketing assets, campaigns, and sales enablement tools that support both product-level and account-level needs, providing the Field Marketing team with resources to target decision-makers effectively.
Market Insights & Feedback Loop:
Leverage insights from Field Marketing/ABM and product teams to refine go-to-market strategies and continually improve positioning based on market feedback, competitive analysis, and customer needs.
Performance Measurement:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across product marketing and ABM initiatives, ensuring campaigns and strategies deliver measurable impact on growth and customer engagement. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on product marketing and ABM strategies. Proven track record of successfully leading go-to-market initiatives for complex solutions, preferably in the healthcare public sector industry Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing both product and field marketing teams. Proven experience with account-based marketing Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. Deep understanding of marketing technology, including CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot). Experience in managing marketing campaigns for state or government agencies is a strong plus. Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to measure the success of marketing initiatives. What you should expect in this role This position is 100% remote, with approximately 20% travel expected annually. The deadline to submit applications for this posting is June 8, 2026. The pay range for this position is $168,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
