This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with an interest in public affairs, government relations, political campaigns, or issue advocacy to gain broad exposure to the industry while contributing directly to the firm's client work. Prepare briefings, proofread materials, and maintain firm records, files, and databases. Manage office databases, purchase agreements, and office inventory. Help facilitate scheduling and requests to ensure the office remains responsive and helpful. Communications & Media Maintain press lists, monitor media coverage, draft reports, and post website updates. Keep the office informed of relevant news, political developments, trends, and community sentiment. Flag relevant coverage and emerging issues for internal awareness. Ensure consistent, professional representation of the firm in all external interactions. Community Engagement & Representation Represent the firm at community meetings, civic events, and public forums, as directed. Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, advocacy organizations, nonprofits, and constituents. Identify and elevate client and stakeholder concerns that may require attention or additional support. Event Planning & Strategic Coordination Plan, organize, and execute events, including roundtables, town halls, webinars, and community forums. Coordinate meetings and outreach activities across teams and external partners. Capture photos and video at events and suggest social media content. Collaborate with other teams to ensure client concerns inform advocacy and to amplify client work across the firm. Client Advocacy & Issue Monitoring Track local issues, trends, and political developments and provide timely updates to senior staff. Support cross-team efforts to advance client priorities and elevate community concerns. Additional Duties Travel occasionally throughout the Valley to support client work, events, and meetings. Work evenings and weekends as needed to support firm and client priorities. Other duties as assigned. Compensation & Benefits Compensation Annual salary of $40,000 to $55,000, paid bi-weekly (commensurate with experience). Leave & Time Off Paid annual leave / paid time off (PTO). Paid sick leave. Paid family and medical leave (FMLA) and parental leave. Federal holidays observed. Health & Insurance Benefits Health insurance. Prior administrative, customer service, or related professional experience. Strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and major social media platforms. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
