Communications Full Job Description Job Overview:
The Director of Partnerships is responsible for developing and executing strategic partnership initiatives that drive revenue growth, brand expansion, and audience acquisition across all company brands. This role oversees affiliate marketing, sponsorships, celebrity partnerships, and strategic brand relationships to maximize business impact and market visibility. The Director of Partnerships manages the full partnership lifecycle from identifying and negotiating opportunities to execution, optimization, and relationship management. This role works cross-functionally with Marketing, Growth, Creative, Community, and Business Development teams to ensure partnership initiatives align with organizational objectives, brand standards, and revenue goals.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Develop and execute partnership strategies that drive lead generation, revenue growth, audience expansion, and brand visibility across all brands. Identify, recruit, negotiate, and manage affiliate, sponsorship, celebrity, influencer, and strategic brand partnerships. Build and maintain strong relationships with celebrities, influencers, agents, managers, and sponsors. Assist with the negotiation of partnership agreements, sponsorship deals, affiliate structures, and promotional terms to ensure profitable and mutually beneficial outcomes. Oversee affiliate and partnership performance, using data-driven analysis to optimize ROI, conversion rates, engagement, and revenue contribution. Manage affiliate programs including onboarding, communications, tracking links, campaign assets, incentive structures, and ongoing partner support. Collaborate with Marketing, Growth, Creative, and Production teams to execute integrated campaigns, activations, launches, and partnership initiatives. Identify new market opportunities, emerging talent, sponsorship opportunities, and industry trends that support company growth objectives. Monitor and report on partnership performance metrics, providing leadership with actionable insights, forecasts, and recommendations. Oversee partnership-related workflows, operational processes, and campaign coordination to ensure timely and accurate execution. Support brand positioning and awareness through strategic collaborations, media opportunities, events, and promotional initiatives. Maintain alignment between partnership initiatives, company goals, brand standards, and financial objectives. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred. 6+ years of experience in partnership management, affiliate marketing, sponsorships, influencer marketing, celebrity relations, or business development. Proven success negotiating and managing high-value partnerships, sponsorships, or affiliate relationships. Strong understanding of CPA/CPL structures, partnership economics, ROAS, and revenue optimization strategies. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Experience managing multiple partnership initiatives and campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and drive strategic decision-making. Familiarity with affiliate platforms, tracking systems, CRM tools, and partnership analytics platforms. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to align multiple departments around partnership initiatives. Highly organized with strong project management and operational execution capabilities. Existing relationships within entertainment, influencer, sponsorship, or media industries preferred.
